Ahoy!
Meet Team Uncharted

Keith and Grant are childhood friends who share a love of adventure. Driven to go beyond the ordinary, they look to the Atlantic to test their limits while raising funds for two organizations close to their hearts.

They’re currently training on opposite sides of the country—logging miles, building strength, and staying accountable from afar.

Keith
Captain

Keith rows for growth and for purpose. When life gets too comfortable, he’s the guy asking “what’s next?”—and choosing the hardest, most meaningful answer he can find.

This expedition is his way to raise awareness around human trafficking and help support the mission to end it, proving that ordinary people can take on extraordinary challenges for something bigger than themselves.

Fun facts
  • Has lived in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
  • New dad (currently training on newborn sleep).
  • Converted his SUP into a rowing setup so he can train on a nearby lake.

Grant
First Mate

From big-wall climbing to ultra running, Grant has always chosen challenges that demand mental toughness and a touch of masochism. He came to rowing without prior experience, approaching it the same way he approaches everything difficult: with consistency, discipline, and a willingness to start at the bottom.

When he’s not climbing mountains with his wife, Grant runs TrunkMate, where he designs and builds sleeping platforms for vehicles—bringing the same problem-solving mindset to business that he does to adventure.

Fun facts
  • Once spent 14 days on a big-wall climb of El Capitan.
  • Known to run marathons without training.
  • Once ran up and down a mountain 14 consecutive times in under 24 hours to "climb the height of Denali" (20,310').
  • Prefers living in his car to living in a city.
